(In 2009 the company changed its name from Specialty Group Services to Acclaim Radiology Management to better reflect our focus on radiology practice management.) As a privately held company, Acclaim continuously meets the needs of our clients by offering state of the art technology, including an online payment portal, online compliance training, and the conversion of paper reports into an electronic format that is easily uploaded to our radiology billing software.

Cindy Pittmon, BS, RCC, CHBME, FRBMA
Acclaim President Cindy Pittmon began her career as a radiology administrator in 1982. After earning a business degree from LeTourneau University in 1993, Cindy founded her own company, today’s Acclaim Radiology Management. She is actively involved with the Healthcare Business Management Association (HBMA), serving as President in 2020 and currently on the Board of Directors as Immediate Past President. Cindy has served as chair of the Certification and of the Ethics & Compliance Committees and as a member of the Technology Committee.
Cindy’s affiliation with the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), began in 1989. Since then, she has served on the Board of Directors as Parliamentarian (1996-98), Treasurer (2006-08) and President (2009-10). Cindy has served at least once on almost every RBMA committee over the years. She is also a former President of the Texas RBMA Chapter, receiving the Otto McFarland Award for her contribution to the state organization.
In 1999 Cindy was asked by the RBMA to serve as Chair of their Coding Certification Task Force. The RBMA recognized the need to have credentialed professionals who were specialists in radiology coding. In May of 2000, the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB) was formed as a non-profit, fully autonomous entity with the mission to promote the highest standards of radiology coding through credentialing of radiology coders. Cindy was honored to serve as the President of the RCCB Board of Directors from its inception until 2008. More than 1,000 professional radiology coders have earned the right to use the RCC credential as a Radiology Certified Coder. Cindy is a nationally recognized expert in radiology coding.
In May of 2012, her first year of eligibility, Cindy was named a Fellow of the RBMA, (FRBMA). The RBMA's criteria for selecting Fellows include their "educational accomplishments, years of RBMA membership, professional service to RBMA, and contributions to the profession".
Michael Pittmon, BS, MS, CHBME
Michael Pittmon joined Acclaim in January 2001 after a 13-year career in manufacturing management, where he was responsible for process improvement, product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Michael earned BS and MS degrees from the University of Texas at Tyler. He brought his experiences and an engineering viewpoint to Acclaim’s revenue cycle operations which have improved employee effectiveness and productivity and enhanced client results.
Michael served as President of the Texas Chapter of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and on the Editorial Subcommittee of the RBMA’s National Communications Committee. He is also a member of the Healthcare Business Management Association (HBMA) where he earned the Certified Healthcare Business Management Executive (CHBME) credential. He later served on the CHBME Certification Committee, including a term as chairman.
Cindy Anne Pittmon
Cindy Anne leads all Information Technology and Systems operations, updates to billing software, hospital data captures, electronic claims filing, and statement processing. Past member of national user committee for our billing software provider.
Vice President of Process Management
Josh manages reporting and analytics focusing on clients’ custom reporting requests. He identifies opportunities to improve Acclaim’s business processes and has developed measures to systematically track daily operations. Josh is an active member in the state and national RBMA.
Vice President of Operations
Kevin manages our operations department, coders, the MIPS reporting process and is our corporate Compliance Officer. He was deeply involved in the successful ICD-10 conversion in 2015. Kevin is an active member of RBMA and HBMA.
Vice President of Administration
Lindsey’s personnel experience ranges from NASA contractors to a pro football team. She brings her skills to bear at Acclaim to help find the best talent for supporting our clients and provides strategic direction to our staff. Lindsey is actively involved in RBMA and HBMA, currently serving as the Chair of RBMA’s Young Professionals Committee and as a member of HBMA’s Ethics Committee.
Vice President of Client Services
Nicole manages the group bill accounts for all clients. She also provides accounting and administration for clients, customized reporting, data analytics, and month end reporting. Nicole is the current President of the Texas RBMA and is also actively involved in the National RBMA.
Billing Operations Manager
Since joining Acclaim in 2013, Elise has proven to be an out-of-the box thinker. She manages the Data Validation, Payments Processing, Claims Research and Customer Service departments to maximize productivity and effectiveness. Her teams verify the quality and completeness of incoming data, promptly post payments to client accounts, work proactively to resolve claim denials, and handle patient calls and emails professionally and in a timely manner.
Trained, Dedicated and Experienced StaffThe dedicated staff members of Acclaim Radiology Management are our most valuable assets and have extensive experience in the medical field. Their backgrounds include diverse areas such as nursing, office management, coding, insurance, process improvement, and collections. All of our employees are selected and retained based on their ability to deliver friendly, professional service to our clients and their patients. Each member of our staff is aware of the need to preserve the confidentiality of patient medical information and client financial information.
To promote our employees’ professional development, we hold regular in-house training on topics such as credentialing, diagnostic and procedure coding, regulatory compliance, patient privacy, and computer system procedures. In addition, key employees participate in off-site training regarding Medicare, Medicaid, coding certification, and fraud prevention. Our coding is performed and reviewed by credentialed, certified radiology coders.
