 | | Cindy Pittmon, President
Acclaim president, Cindy Pittmon, RCC, CHBME, began her career as a radiology administrator 27 years ago. After earning her business degree from LeTourneau University in 1993, Cindy formed Acclaim Radiology Management. Since then Acclaim has grown significantly.
Cindy is actively involved with the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA) and the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA). Her affiliation with RBMA began in 1989, when she served on the Board of Directors as Parliamentarian and as Treasurer. In June 2009 she began a one year term as President of the RBMA and is now in the role of Immediate Past President. In 1999, Cindy was asked to serve as Chair of the Coding Certification Task Force of RBMA. In May of 2000, the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB) was formed as a non-profit, fully autonomous entity with the mission to promote the highest standards of radiology coding through credentialing of radiology coders. Cindy was honored to serve as the President of the RCCB Board of Directors from its inception until 2004. She completed her RCCB Director term in 2006. As of 2009, more than 1,000 professional radiology coders have earned the RCC credential.
|  | | Michael Pittmon, Vice President
Michael Pittmon, CHBME, joined Acclaim as the Business Development Manager in 2001 after a 13-year career in manufacturing management, where he was responsible for process improvement, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Michael serves as the Vice President of Acclaim and is responsible for process improvement and compliance. During his time with Acclaim, he has helped to implement electronic coding, electronic data entry and automated dashboards that monitor client account activities. The results have been improved employee performance and productivity and enhanced client reporting.
Michael earned BS and MS degrees from the University of Texas at Tyler. He has served on numerous national standards development committees for organizations, such as Underwriters Laboratories; Canadian Standards Association; the American National Standards Institute; and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, to develop product safety standards. Currently, Michael is serving as President-Elect of the Texas RBMA Chapter and serves on the Editorial Subcommittee of the RBMA’s National Communications Committee.
|  | | Wendy Lomers, Chief Financial Officer
Wendy Lomers, CPA, MBA, joined Acclaim in February of 2010. A certified public accountant, Wendy also holds a Master’s degree in management. She has over 25 years experience working with medical and radiology practices as a CPA, CFO, and an executive manager.
Wendy served as Chief Financial Officer for South Texas Radiology, responsible for all financial aspects of the practice. For the last 16 years before joining Acclaim, she was the Administrative Director for Radiology Associates of San Antonio, where she was responsible for strategic planning and management of a multi-hospital based practice, nine wholly owned imaging centers, a Texas based teleradiology practice, as well as a not-for profit breast imaging foundation. Currently serving as the RBMA Treasurer, Finance Committee member and Managed Care Task Force member, Wendy is also active in the Texas RBMA Chapter, having the privilege of serving several terms as President.
|  | | Heidi Koffler, Director of Marketing
Heidi Koffler joined the Acclaim team in October of 2009, after serving as Director of Marketing and Communications for CPU Medical Management Systems, Inc. for nine years. Prior to her tenure with CPU, Heidi worked for RealAge, Inc., as a Project Manager, and for Caredata.com in marketing and advertising. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
